The
Range Rover Club of Australia was formed in Melbourne
in 1977.
The
Queensland Branch was formed in 1984 and has grown rapidly
since then. It is independent of other branches and
is Incorporated.
Regardless
of the reason you acquired your vehicle, the Club
respects
the individual and organises activities to suit most
interests. We are primarily a recreational four-wheel
drive Club which has strong awareness
of and respect for environmental and land access
issues and encourages
environmental conservation. The Club is also a member
of Four Wheel Drive Queensland (FWDQ) which advises
on matters of policy regarding land access and conservation
of
the environment.
Activities
vary between day and weekend excursions into various
areas of South East Queensland and also northern
New
South Wales, film nights, presentation evenings (sometimes
at Sponsors' premises), social evenings, on and
off road
vehicle orientation
and accompanying other members on long trips to remote
parts of Australia.
We
hold General Meetings
on the second Wednesday of each month (except January).
